Maths - Award in Personal Finance (Level 1)

Students with a grade 3-2 in GCSE Mathematics will work towards their GCSE on a two year programme by studying a variety of GCSE maths themes. In the first year they will focus on grade 3 material and will also have the opportunity to take the Free Standing Mathematics Qualifications (FSMQ) and Money Management qualifications. Students who have not gained a grade 3-2 in GCSE Mathematics will follow a Free Standing Mathematics Qualification in Money Management together with the Certificate in Personal Finance Level 1. These courses help you to work towards a GCSE in Mathematics by developing your knowledge and understanding of mathematics through themed topic areas which involve ‘Money Matters’. The Personal Finance course develops your knowledge and understanding of the financial sector
