Students with a grade 3-2 in GCSE Mathematics will work towards their GCSE on a two year programme by studying a variety of GCSE maths themes. In the first year they will focus on grade 3 material and will also have the opportunity to take the Free Standing Mathematics Qualifications (FSMQ) and Money Management qualifications. Students who have not gained a grade 3-2 in GCSE Mathematics will follow a Free Standing Mathematics Qualification in Money Management together with the Certificate in Personal Finance Level 1. These courses help you to work towards a GCSE in Mathematics by developing your knowledge and understanding of mathematics through themed topic areas which involve ‘Money Matters’.
