Yoga for Health and Wellbeing

UPDATED 20160601 14:27:35

Yoga for Health will be taught this term by Sally Turner who is a trained teacher of Vinyasa Krama Yoga. This form of yoga is very adaptable yet also very much in keeping with the original yoga taught in India and brought to the West by Iyengar. During a typical class you will experience gentle stretching, the five movements of the spine, well-known yoga postures or asanas, breathing exercises and meditation. There will also be a short relaxation period at the end of each class.
