This course is a practical, work-related course where you will study the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Public Services qualification. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on workplace situations, activities and demands. You will spend time learning both in and outside of college to gain a greater understanding of careers in the emergency uniformed services, and have the opportunity to meet with a range of employers. You will gain the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in current and future employment, or for progression to higher level courses. This course will be delivered in combination with the Preparation for Work in the Military Services course to give students the overview of both career pathways.
