"2 year programme with 1 day a week at College for the first year and a further year of study focusing on Work Based Assessment. Apprenticeships are designed by employers for employers and are tailored to meet the needs of each specific sector. An apprenticeship will allow you to get qualified, get paid and get a career all in one go! There is a high demand for qualified welders and fabricators. Working in this field requires a good head for figures and the ability to think independently. You will need good written and verbal skills and be a good team player.
