This course offers learners the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding of the varied public services. Personal skills and qualities essential for employment and higher level study will be developed throughout the programme. Students will study a full range of units including Citizenship, Society and the Public Services, Crime and its effects on Society and Individuals, Career Planning and Employability Skills, Land Navigation and Map Reading Skills, Security Procedures in the Public Services, Health, Fitness and Lifestyle for the Public Services, Sport and Recreation in the Public Services, Expedition Skills and many more.
