The Team Leading Apprenticeship package offered by the Chamber includes the ILM Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading, Functional Skills in English Level 1 (or higher), Maths Level 1 (or higher) and ICT Level 1 (or higher). This qualification will suit mid-level staff who are leading teams and looking to develop their leadership skills. Learners will develop their skills and understanding in leading and managing people, exploring areas such as managing personal development, developing relationships with colleagues, and communicating information and knowledge. They can also choose from a number of optional study areas, such as setting objectives and supporting team members, developing appraisal processes, planning, allocating and monitoring work, evaluating individual and team progress, clear communication and decision making.
