The Health and Social Care Apprenticeship package offered by the Chamber includes the City and Guilds Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care. This qualification provides the mandatory training for managers who provide social care, as required by the Care Quality Commission. It replaces Level 4 RMA. Six different pathways are available in this qualification, depending on the working environment of the learner: adult’s residential management, children’s residential management, adult management, children’s management, adult’s advanced practice, children’s advanced practice. There are a wide range of study topics for each pathway, according to the specific roles, setting and interests of the learner.
