In this course you will study concepts and ideas about why and how different groups in society consume and respond to the media. You will analyse how the media represents different groups. The course covers the main channels of mass communication, including: advertising, film, music ,the press, television, internet, gaming and radio. You will also have the opportunity to focus on specific areas of the media that interests you through research projects that combine theory and practical production.
