Level 1 Award in Employability for Logistics has been designed as part of the Solent Logistics Consortium programme to enable unemployed adults; aged 21 or over; an opportunity to progress onto a fully funded HGV licence programme and gain employment as HGV drivers in the Solent region. The Solent Logistics Consortium members comprise the following companies: AFS Haulage; Harris Transport; Lambert Brothers Haulage; Meachers Global Logistics; Pentalver; Steve Porter Transport Group and Williams Shipping Holdings. These employers represent a significant proportion of the haulage and logistics companies within the Solent region.
