Apprenticeships are work based learning qualifications. Apprenticeships include a combination of the following elements. A work based competency qualification such as an NVQ A technical qualification relevant to the specific Apprenticeship Functional Skills qualifications in Maths English and ICT or equivalent as appropriate Personal Learning and Thinking Skills Employee Rights and Responsibilities On the job and off the job training The competency qualification in this Apprenticeship is a L3 certificate in management principles NVQ Mandatory Units. Manage your own resources and professional development Provide leadership in your area of responsibility Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility Optional Units. Further units will be selected to meet the needs of the employer and learner. The mandatory and optional units are credit based and will make up the full competency qualification
