This level 3 qualification introduces you to more complex tasks in financial accounting and costing. You will learn how to prepare final accounts of sole traders and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and preparation of reports and returns. Financial spread sheets and professional ethics are also covered. The course is divided into six units which will enable you to achieve the defined professional standards. 1) Accounts preparation (9 credits) 2) Prepare final accounts for sole traders and partnerships (6 credits) 3) Costs and revenues (8 credits) 4) Indirect tax (4 credits) 5) Spread sheet software (6 credits) 6) Professional ethics (4 credits) Learning will be a mix of classroom teaching individual and group activities tutorials and self study. Students will also be trained on financial spread sheets using MS excel spread sheet.
