This course will give you the opportunity to make and print your own Christmas or festive cards. There is nothing like receiving a handmade card that is a gift in its own right. You will be working with linocuts that will enable you to generate a series of prints. Concessions are available for learners who meet certain citeria, see below for more information.This creative card making course will enable you to design and print an edition of cards. You will be introduced to the relief printmaking process using lino for your block. Lino is a very versatile material that is easy to cut and holds detail well. You will initially work with black & white to understand the potential of linocuts before you start making a simple colour reduction print. Your prints could be unique or you could make them identical while still retaining their handmade quality.
