"Feel good when using everyday English." - This course will help you to practise speaking in general English e.g. when you go shopping, go to the doctor, collecting your children from school, speak to the neighbours etc. - 'Real' material is used for example from newspapers, magazines, forms and leaflets to improve your level of speaking and confidence. - In the lessons we will talk about the topics that interest you and are important to you. - You will also learn some useful everyday expressions, and your pronunciation should become clearer. - At the same time your other skills such as listening and reading should improve along with speaking. This course will help you with: SPEAKING AND LISTENING Understand and enter into straightforward discussions with other people. Listen to others' opinions and be able to say what you think using a wider range of vocabulary. Improve your pronunciation in English language Use more accurate grammar to express yourself in informal English conversations and discussions. You will be given the opportunity to use websites to help with your English and to use the college intranet system to access work set by your tutor.
