FL3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools CACHE Level 3 Certificate

This is a one-year long qualification course for people who are already working as a teaching assistant. This course is meant for those who have worked as a teaching assistant for some time and have plenty of experience of supporting pupils learning activities in a classroom, planning and assessment, promoting positive behaviour and implementing effective teamwork.The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is a 32 credit qualification that consists of 11 mandatory units, 24 of which must be achieved at the level of the qualification. There are no optional units. The 11 mandatory units are as follows: 1. Communication and Professional Relationships with Children, Young People and Adults 2. Develop Professional Relationships with Children, Young People and Adults 3. Engage in Personal Development in Health, Social Care or Children's and Young People's Settings 4. Promote Children and Young People's Positive Behaviour 5. Promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Work with Children and Young People 6. Schools as Organisations 7. Support Assessment for Learning 8. Support Children and Young People's Health and Safety 9. Support Learning Activities 10. Understand Child and Young Person Development 11. Understand How to Safeguard the Wellbeing of Children and Young People The content of each of these units will be fully explained to you when you are on the course.

Name: FL3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools CACHE Level 3 Certificate Qualification title: Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment With guidance, you will create a folder of work, which you will add to as you go through the course. This will be assessed by the tutor/assessor, by a specialist member of staff (Internal Verifier) and by an independent assessor (External Verifier) from the Awarding Organisation. As part of this process you will be assigned an Assessor who will visit you at your school to observe you at work. There will be at least three visits through the latter stages of the academic year.
