A course to enable non-electrical personnel to fault find on systems incorporating PLC's, PC based to save down time and to reduce unnecessary dependence on electrical staff. Method Of Delivery Lecture, demonstration, problem solving exercises using an interactive PC based learning package. Who Is It For? Maintenance personnel and machine and plant operators who require a basic understanding of PLC's and Input and Output devices. Objectives On successful completion of the course delegates will be able to: Understand the principles and terminology of PLC's Read simple ladder programmes Use the input and output indicators to assist fault finding Adjust times counters etc. where permitted.
