On the Advanced Level Apprenticeship, your training will focus on gaining specific skills in your preferred speciality. You will handle more responsibility and gain important management skills. From organising displays to learning the crucial aspects of management, the skills gained from the Retail Apprenticeship are transferable to all retail companies. With a young workforce, the UK's retail sector is vibrant and offers many opportunities for early career progression. You must have an employer to support you through your Apprenticeship and give you time off work to attend college. Many people find their own job or are already employed but if not, college staff can help you find employment. The Apprenticeship will include: Knowledge based qualification - level 3, Competence based qualification - level 3, English - level 2, maths - level 2, Employee rights and responsibilities. Job roles senior sales assistant, visual merchandiser supervisor, craft expert (e.g. bakery), style advisor (personal shoppers, retail consultant, stylist), supervisor or teamleader, department manager, store manager (of a small outlet).
