On this practical course you will develop personal skills, including independent thinking, problem solving and team working and an understanding of new technologies and business administration. You will look at areas such as: - using mobile IT devices, - improving productivity using IT, - imaging software, - using office equipment in a business environment, - communicating electronically, - recording business transactions. You will also study English and maths at level 1 and a Personal and Social Development certificate. You will be involved in a number of different learning techniques, including: - short lectures, - demonstrations, - self-directed study, - practical work, - tutorials, - online activities. You'll be able to access resources relating to your course using the college Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle).
