This apprenticeship is aimed at individuals who are employed within carpentry and joinery role at entry level. Apprenticeships are based on a framework of qualifications that when combined make up the full apprenticeship. These typically comprise of a Diploma in your work subject and a Technical certificate also in your area of work. You may also have to undertake functional skills in Maths, English and ICT. Other skills or training may be required to suit a particular occupational area. At Lifelong Learning and Skills, we offer a wide range of programmes designed to help both young people and adults develop their skills and move on to further learning, find a job or improve their career prospects. Our centres are well equipped and training site staff are there to teach, advise and support you all the way.
