Course Aims and Description: EdExcel BTEC National Award or Certificate is the name of the programme EdExcel BTEC is a National awarding body for job related training qualifications. This means that when you have successfully completed your programme of study you will hold a qualification that is nationally recognised by employers and further/higher education centres. The qualification is the equivalent of two A Levels so students can progress to higher education training courses if they wish (Higher National Programmes or Foundation Degree).
