The Level 3 in Building Studies Civil Engineering and Building Services Engineering can be studied on a part time or full-time basis and is the equivalent to 1 - 3 A-levels. Studied over one to two years you will learn how to: design the various elements of domestic and commercial construction; prepare costings and project manage; as well as learning how buildings and structures fit into the infrastructure of towns and cities. You will gain the skills and knowledge needed for employment in the construction industry and higher education. It is recommended that you have achieved appropriate level 2 courses such as GCSE's with grade C's in Maths and English or a trade background construction equivalent. If you are a mature student with a trade background we will provide you with all the advice you need.
