Deaf Awareness

Whether you come across Deaf people in your work, have family or friends who are Deaf, or just want to learn some basic communication with the Deaf, this course offers a relaxed environment for absolute beginners. An enjoyable, tenweek course where we will cover basic BSL fingerspelling, numbers and conversation, improving understanding of the Deaf, and practical topics like working alongside BSL interpreters and overcoming barriers in social and workplace situations.
