Do you work with people who are at the end of their life as part of your day to day work or do you want to learn more about how to support and care for these individuals? If so, this is the course for you and it can also help improve your employment prospects. The topics you cover include the support needed to manage pain and discomfort, how dementia impacts on end of life care, the role of the care worker at time of death and the loss and grief process. You must be 18 or over to enrol. You need to have a good level of English and will undertake an assessment to confirm your place.
