Have you completed Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment Level 3 Award? Then this qualification is the next step for you. On this course you will assess both occupational competence in the workplace and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in settings such as workshops, the classroom or other training environments. Please note, to enrol on this course you must have access to assess a minimum of two candidates within the workplace and two within another training environment they may be the same two. You will build a portfolio, which will include direct observations and you have onetoone support a maximum of 6 one hour sessions. Once you have completed the Certificate, and gained some experience, you can progress on to the Internal Quality Assurance (formerly Internal Verification) qualification.
