DRAWING AND PAINTING - BEGINNERS & IMPROVERS

This course is aimed at learners with very little or no experience of drawing and painting. Learners will be taught the various technical approaches used in drawing and painting from basic geometric and linear drawing exercises to the introduction of volume and form. Colour mixing using the colour wheel will be fully explored as will paint techniques such as washing, impasto and paint handling. Learners will be working with various drawing and painting tools such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and the brush. This course is suitable for those looking for a very thorough introduction to the skills of drawing and painting.
