This course is for students who wish to gain employment in the construction industry. The course is suitable for experienced learners who would like a career in the construction industry or who are progressing from Carpentry and Joinery Diploma Level 2. You will study the following: * Assist in Establishing the Operational Area * Assist with Progressing Operations * Assist with Organising Resources * Produce Timber Products (Circular Saw) * Co-Ordinate and Install First Fixing and Second Fixing * Co-Ordinate and Erect Carcassing All LMC students will receive tutorial support. All students aged 16 -19 are required to study functional English and maths qualifications or GCSE maths and English if not already awarded an A*-C in these subjects. Students aged 19+ are strongly encouraged to take relevant maths and English qualifications to support progression into further or higher education, training or employment.
