Discuss some of the world's most debated questions whilst exploring your own political views. This course is recommended for career pathways into Law. -Answering questions like: -Why did the government join the USA in the war against Iraq, and was it right to do so? -What should be done about crime with those who commit it? -What are my own political views and what party are they closest to? -An examination of the role television and the media play in politics, with lots of discussions, debates and videos -Enrichment activities, like a trip to Washington D.C in the USA if there is sufficient demand -The opportunity for some students to participate in a week-long work experience programme at the House of Commons in London, if there is sufficient demand.
