Apprenticeships are training programmes designed for young people aged 16-24 who have left full-time education. This qualification leads to a National Vocational Qualification at Level 3 plus Functional Skills. Apprentices must be employed within the vocational area. Government guidelines state that apprentices should be employed for 30 hours per week; however there is flexibility so please discuss individual circumstances at interview. To complete this Advanced Apprenticeship learners will need to be employed in a physical education setting (e.g. Infant, Primary or Secondary School).
