The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Applied Science is a vocational, practical, work-related Level 2 course. It provides an interesting and stimulating approach to the study of science. The complete Level 2 Diploma is equivalent to four GCSE grades at A*-C. The course develops the skills needed to start a career in a related scientific field or offers progression to a Level 3 Vocational Science course. Assessment is by the completion of a range of internally assessed assignments and projects during the course. The course requires the study of six units, two of which are compulsory core units and the remaining four are taken from the following list: ? Electronics in Action ?
