Our open studio offers a well-equipped, professional and supportive ceramics studio to artists, ceramicists and novices wishing to develop new skills or build on their existing knowledge. Experienced ceramics graduates have the opportunity to set their own personal goals, while those new to ceramics but with some art experience can tailor workshops to suit their ideas and development aims. We have a working studio and separate glazing room, equipped with three electric kilns, a Raku kiln, a number of pottery wheels, a slab roller and a spray booth. Expert advice is at hand and is suitable for all abilities. Due to the popularity of this course students are required to pay a small fee per kilo of clay used.
