An active approach to drawing, students will be working from the human form. This experimental approach to Figure Drawing will be run over the course of five weeks. The emphasis will be on experimentation. The first half will be spent exploring drawing in various media (Charcoal, chalks paints on various surfaces) and approaches in short poses from one to twenty minutes. The second half will be used by students to explore what was learnt in the first half of the course in a free draw session (drawing from longer sustained poses) with as much guidance from the tutor as the student requires
