his course will appeal to those of you wishing to pursue a career in art or those who simply want to continue studying the subject to a higher level. Ideally you should have achieved a Merit on the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design course or a ‘B’ grade in GCSE Art and Design prior to undertaking this course although under exceptional circumstances you may be considered with no prior experience. To assess your suitability you will undertake a bridging assignment over the summer prior to beginning the course and this will form the basis of your first assessment.
