This course is designed to provide a coherent overview of the key issues and processes found in employment law and practice. It will be of interest to experienced Human Resources staff or for those new to this area of work as well as for those looking for work in this field or starting up their own business. At the end of the course, the attendees will receive a Certificate which will evidence the subjects studied. The aim of the course is to give the attendee: an understanding of the contractual and statutory relationship that exists between an employer and an employee; an ability to determine why certain rules and standard terms exist and the rationale behind statutory rights and protections for employees so that they may be correctly applied a solid basis from which to address termination of employment in a variety of circumstances and the likely outcome of erroneous procedures a basic understanding of the processes and time limits that apply to Employment Tribunal Claims - See more at: http://www.bromley.ac.uk/courses/employment-law-and-practice/#sthash.rnkx4n3g.dpuf
