The specialist psychology units are delivered to the Psychology cohort separately. There are weekly tutorials where one to ones take place and learners set own targets for development of specific skills and knowledge, including completion of the UCAS process. There are Learning Mentors who support learners with pastoral issues which may impact on their learning and learning is further supported by the College VLE - Boodle, where all resources, assignments and schemes of work are uploaded for learner use and specific resources for E Learning sessions are updated weekly. For individual assignment support, in addition to that available in the class and in tutorials, learners are able to access specialist one to one support with assignments through the Support Shop where they can either self-refer or be referred by the tutor. Learners with identified learning needs will be supported in class by a Learner Coach, where appropriate.
