This one year course is for students aged 16-19 and is intended to support you in finding a job or to guide you into more specialised vocational training. As part of the course you will undertake two or three different work experience placements â€" one day a week over half a term or more. These work placements are an essential part of the course and attendance and punctuality are taken very seriously. A good relationship with the employer is vital to your success on the course. Each work placement adds weight to the CV that you will be building up over the year.
