By the end of the course you will understand: -The importance of keeping your PC/laptop and browser updated -How to keep your PC/laptop safe from viruses and spyware -How to back up files -How to clean up files -How to monitor CPU/memory usage. This course is suitable for learners who have completed First time on a Computer and who have some experience of file management. You do not need to bring anything with you but you might find a notebook and pen useful. There is no formal qualification for this Community Learning course. You might like to take Word: Introduction, Excel: Introduction, PowerPoint: Introduction or File Management. Why not join the IT Open session (every Friday 10-2) to practise your IT skills.
