PowerPoint: Next steps

By the end of the course you will be able to: -Identify the PowerPoint screen layout -Create a presentation -Choose layouts -Enter text and pictures -Save and print -Open a presentation and format it using text effects and borders -Open a presentation and edit text, undo and redo, find and replace, spell check and hide slides -Insert slides, pictures, Clipart, charts, tables and photos into presentations -Set slide design and create backgrounds -Set transition and animation for presentations -Use different presentation views -Present a slide show -Create a template master and slide master views -Use different print options such as handouts -Create a photo album -Carry out file management tasks such as renaming a file or folder. This course is suitable for learners who have completed PowerPoint: Introduction or who have experience of using basic PowerPoint. You do not need to bring anything with you but you might find a notebook and pen useful. There is no formal qualification for this Community Learning course. You might like to take Word: next steps, Excel: next Steps, File Management, or Keep your PC/laptop running smoothly. Why not join the IT Open session (every Friday 10-2) to practise your skills.
