The course will establish a range of basic methods of watercolour painting through the use of sketchbook, photographs, found images or direct observation. You will learn to distinguish the use of tone, colour, composition and perspective Gain confidence in using materials and be encouraged to take part in group discussionsHave access to one to one support The overall aim is to help you develop personal expression through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques

Please bring whatever watercolour materials you may already have purchased, or a pad of A4 cartridge paper, soft grade of pencils (HB, 2B, 4B), soft rubber and sharpener for the first session.
