Would you like to learn about glazing? This one day workshop will include pouring, dipping and painting glaze as well as other decorating and finishing techniques. The tutor will talk you through good glazing practice and some introductory glaze chemistry.Learners will arrange with the tutor when to collect their fired pots at a later date.

Learners should bring an apron, an old towel and wear casual clothing with closed toe shoes. Bring along any sources of inspiration such as magazine cut outs which will aid in the progress of your ideas, along with a notebook or sketchbook and pencil.Learners should also have at least 2 pots which have been bisque fired and ready to glaze. These should have been produced on an earlier workshop or taster day and should be made of stoneware clay.
