The course explores the elements of creating a narrative, whether a short story, novel, memoir or non-fiction. We will consider factors such as plot, character development and setting, and examine key areas such as point of view, dialogue and genre. Writing exercises in the sessions are designed to be enjoyable, as well as thought-provoking, and learners are encouraged to experiment with their own writing, both during and outside class.
