Creative writing balances the teaching of various aspects of the craft whilst giving you the freedom to be creative and develop your own vision in a whole range of written forms and genres. Opportunities to write for radio, screen, page, performance or digital media will all be available to you on this practical 2 year course that takes you on a process of discovery to develop your own voice using professional formats. Through a range of activities you will understand how to ignite and sustain the writing impulse whilst gathering skills to write for a wide variety of audiences. You will examine published work whilst bringing your own favourite pieces to the classroom to investigate and develop critical skills in. This course complements all including the sciences and humanities as you are not restricted to the content on which you could produce your work.
