Tractor Driving & Related Operations

To enable those who have some tractor operating skills and experience such as use of front end loaders and reversing a 2 wheeled trailer , to develop their abilities to the level required for the National Proficiency Test Council. Training is a legal requirement, employers are required to provide adequate training and to ensure that tractors are driven only by employees who have received appropriate training in their safe use, including attachments and trailers. Course includes some basic maintenance. This course was formerly known as M01/ M01A Important Note: This qualification is evidence of training and assessed competence . It is NOT a tractor driving licence for use on public roads. Driver testing and licencing is dealt with by DSA and DVLA . Booking of tests can be made by calling 0300 790 6801.
