Level 2 Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture

UPDATED 20160503 07:39:16

This is a very practical introduction to the skills required to work safely and effectively in the woodland industry. Establishing a broad understanding of the working environment is vital to becoming a valued and useful member of any forestry or woodland business. We spend much time on the College estate practising skills across a range of sites. Practical skills are underpinned with sound theory and working examples. We follow a seasonal work pattern and experience as much as possible on our 257 hectare estate dedicated to teaching purposes. The course is designed as a pre-apprenticeship programme or a stepping-stone to the Level 3 Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Forestry
