This apprenticeship is designed for applicants who are in paid employment within Information Technology, to achieve the theory and practical elements of the qualifications which recognise the skills they gain in the workplace. The IT User apprenticeships is suitable for anybody who is required to use IT in work. The vocational element (The Diploma in IT User Skills) can be customised to suit your job role by combining the mandatory unit (Improving Productivity Using IT) with a range of optional units. Optional units include: -Using the Internet -Using Email -Database Software -Presentation Software -Spreadsheet Software -Presentation Software -Website Software -Security for IT Users -Bespoke Software Qualifications gained: -Level 2 Diploma in IT User Skills (ITQ Apprentice) (Combined Competence and Knowledge Elements) -Functional Skill in Mathematics at Level 1 -Functional Skill in English at Level 1 -Functional Skills in ICT at Level 2 -Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) -Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
