Sociology AS/A Level

UPDATED 20160429 10:37:21

Sociology is the study of human societies and how they interact to shape peoples beliefs, behaviours and identity. Academics claim sociology is more than a subject it is a whole way of seeing the world. The course provides a lively interesting introduction to sociology, examining a range of questions such as: why do some people commit crime? Why are girls performing better than boys in education? Are religious cults manipulating vulnerable young people? Subject related topics and guest speakers will also feature as part of the programme.
