A2 Level Business Studies

UPDATED 20160429 08:54:01

Why study A2 Business Studies? Business Studies is a subject that is both academic and practical. It is unique in that it allows you to develop employability skills as well as those skills that will be useful in higher education. It can be said that it is also down to this that Business Studies is great fun with a mixture of hands on activities such as organising Business Study trips, enterprise tasks and business simulations. What's on the course? We start the course by focusing on business strategy. Why is it important to measure business success? How can we measure the success of different business organisations in a variety of markets? What are the strategic approaches to different functional areas of business? How do you plan your corporate and functional objectives to achieve success? The second half of the year is spent looking at how to manage business organisations in their wider environment and how we can set strategies to successfully manage change. Is business success really down to its own behaviour or how the conditions are in the market in which they operate? How will each external influence, such as the interest rate and unemployment numbers, affect the success of organisations?
