This course is for anyone interested in developing their design skills to a professional level and preparing their portfolio for industry or continuing their education with a top-up third year on an appropriate BA (hons) course (e.g. graphic design illustration animation web design/interactive design advertising games design etc.). The course will help you gain the theoretical analytical creative technical skills and professional insights to become a successful designer through exploring traditional and digital media investigating communication issues and the history and contexts of design. This course is designed for progression to University and/or progression into industry. Once you have completed your studies there is a wide range of careers open to you. The nature of your career options depend on which area of the visual communication industries you choose to specialise in.
