UPDATED 20160421 12:16:24

Discover a variety of basic and more advanced hand knitting and crochet techniques, as well as advice on knitting garments, accessories and shapes. This is a practical class in producing colourful, lively and original work in a variety of techniques. Students are initially encouraged to produce a sample pack to log all techniques covered in class. From this, students progress to personal projects with tutor guidance and support. The course provides group demonstrations and one to one teaching. A variety of yarns are provided for sampling and experimentation. Supplementary short courses enable the acquisition of additional skills such as yarn dyeing and garment designing. Tutor Katie Jones has her own contemporary brand of exciting crochet and hand knit and will provide vibrant examples to inspire everyone.
