A lively and exciting course for beginners introducing basic techniques of intaglio and relief printmaking including etching, dry point, linocut, collograph and photo litho. Plus, creative projects for intermediate and advanced students to develop and extend their printmaking skills and practice.

Please bring: pencils, a small paintbrush and a sketchbook or notebook. Protective clothing is provided, or you can bring your own apron and rubber gloves. The course fee includes most studio consumables (ink, cleaning materials, solvents etc) but you will have to pay for paper, etching plates/ lino blocks etc. These are available to buy in the department at cost price.
