An Introduction to Working With Stained Glass

This beginners course will teach you all the techniques necessary to design and create your own stained glass 'leaded light' panels .Learn to design workable patterns, cutting glass, leading and soldering. After the first of two projects, the materials for the second panel will be charged at cost price.

Entry requirements

You will need to wear sturdy shoes, boots or trainers (no open sandals); An apron; It would also be helpful to bring; Sketchbook/ notebook A4, Pencils/ coloured pencils/ pens; Marker pen (Pilot Sign pen is good). If you would like to purchase any stained glass items, a good supplier is Lead & Light, 35 A Hartland Rd, Camden, London NW1 8DB, Tel 020 7485 0997 www.leadandlight.co.uk. After making your initial small panel , you will need to pay for glass, lead and solder, which will be available at cost price in the class.
