City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Reflexology

Train to become a professional Reflexologist. Successful completion through continuous assessment and examination leads to an internationally recognised qualification, mapped to the National Occupational Standards and the UK Core Curriculum. Upon graduation you will be invited to join the International Federation of Reflexologists as a full member. You will also be able to register as a Reflexologist with UK regulatory bodies. Entry requirements

Uniform: White tunic and dark trousers, long hair needs to be tied back, short nails (no nail varnish), , Equipment: 2 hand towels (pastel or white), 1 pillow/pillowcase, cotton wool pads, witch hazel, nail scissors and a nail file, a selection of plasters, tissues, disposable gloves, and a moisturising foot cream. Details will be confirmed at the first lesson. You may wish to purchase a massage table (with lifting back rest) or a foot stool/reclining chair for case studies/home practice but these are not needed in college, please seek your tutor's advice before buying a massage table, , You will need to bring pens, paper and a folder in which to keep your handouts. You will need other stationery items during the course, which your tutors will explain to you. It is a good idea to have a set of colouring pencils., , The following books are required for the Reflexology module, you will also need to purchase Anatomy and Physiology books as advised by your tutor:, Concise Oxford Medical Dictionary ISBN:0192806971 or similar, Tanner, Renee Step by Step Reflexology (5th Edition), Douglas Barry Publications, ISBN:0954017641.
